Loewe Opta Tubes

Loewe - Opta and Loewe Opta Tubes

3 NF Radio AG DS Loewe

The 3 NF was the world's first integrated circuit. As well as triple tube function it included 5 resistors and 2 capacitors and to prevent contamination of the vacuum within the bulb, these resistors and capacitors were individually sealed inside a glass phial. The developer of the tube was the famous inventor, Manfred Von Ardenne who propogated resistance amplification and laid the groundwork for wide band amplification an important prerequisite for electronc television.

2 HF „New Type“ Radio AG DS Loewe

The 2 HF „New Type“ had two Triodes; their predecessors 2 HF two Tetrodes. intermediate stage was the HF 29. As the "new one Type" served as a substitute for the 2HF the following instruction was given on the license sticker „Without space charge grid! – Plug + 22,5 to 7,5 insert“.
